Clio the muse
According to greek mythology, Clio, daughter of Zeus and Mnemosini, is the muse of epic poetry and history. Pictured holding parchments, a trumpet and hourglass. Her name derives from the word κλέω/κλείω which means to narrate or make known. The word κλέος means = glory and the word κλεις = key, are tightly connected with Clio and history, since writing down glorious acts of the past are the key to conclude useful conclusions for the future to come.
