Historian - Content Creator | CLOSED

Position Title: Historian – Content Creator

Reports to: CEO


Basic Job Description:

Research, analyze, record, interpret the past as recorded in sources, such as government and  institutional records, newspapers and other periodicals, photographs, interviews, films, and unpublished manuscripts, such as personal diaries and letters. Then transform all information into themed cultural tours according to the storytelling methodology created by Clio Muse PC.


Job Duties and Tasks:

  • Organize data, and analyze and interpret its authenticity and relative significance.
  • Gather historical data from sources such as archives, court records, diaries, news files, and photographs, as well as collect data sources such as books, pamphlets, and periodicals.
  • Trace historical development in a particular field, such as social, cultural, political, or diplomatic history.
  • Conduct historical research as a basis for the identification, conservation, and reconstruction of historic places and materials.
  • Conduct research in colleges, universities, museums, and other research agencies and schools.
  • Conduct historical research, and publish or present findings and theories.
  • Prepare publications and exhibits, or review those prepared by others in order to ensure their historical accuracy.
  • Research the history of a particular area, city, country or region, or of a specific time period.
  • Determine which topics to research, or pursue research topics specified by clients or employers.
  • Research and prepare manuscripts in support of public programming and the development of exhibits at historic sites, museums, libraries, and archives.
  • Organize information for publication and for other means of dissemination, such as use in scientific magazines, cultural media (electronic and printed).
  • Organize information into different themed scenarios to create different themed cultural tours
  • Create cultural tours according to the storytelling methodology of Clio Muse PC.
  • Curate cultural tours created by other Content Providers of Clio Muse PC, according to the storytelling methodology of Clio Muse PC
  • Advise or consult with individuals and institutions regarding issues such as the historical authenticity of materials or the customs of a specific historical period.
  • Translate or request translation of reference materials.
  • Collect detailed information on individuals for use in biographies.
  • Interview people in order to gather information about historical events, and to record oral histories.
  • Recommend actions related to historical art, such as which items to add to a collection, which items to display in an exhibit and which sights to include in a digital tour.
  • Coordinate activities of workers engaged in cataloging and filing materials.
  • Edit historical society publications.
  • Translate from Greek to English and from English to Greek.

International Sales Executive | CLOSED

Basic Job Description:

Identifies market opportunities, creates and maintains relationships with customers by focusing on matching customers’ needs with the Clio Muse PC’s services, aligns with the Clio Muse PC’s expansion goals and contributes to the knowledge of the culture and tourism market.  


Job Duties and Tasks:

  • Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options.
  • Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
  • Sells services by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.
  • Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
  • Identifies service packages improvements or new services by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

Position Title: Operations Assistant

Basic Job Description:

Performs administrative duties and clerical functions in order to help with streamline on the day-to-day business operations of Clio Muse PC. Also performs reconciliation and customer service duties, organizes customer contacts, market data and administration files. Performs first level customer service, market research and marketing activities. Among reconciliation functions, he/she may do record keeping.

Position Title: Junior Software Engineer

Reports to: CTO


Basic Job Description:

Implements and maintains new and existing features of our digital infrastructure (backend & app). Documents software deliverables using agreed upon standards and tools. Participates in sizing and estimation activities. Assists with feature plan implementation.


Must have skills:

  • Ability to transform business needs into technical requirements
  • At least 1 year of web development with a MVC framework
  • At least 1 year of web development with Javascript or Javascript frameworks
  • Solid knowledge of the PHP programming language
  • Object oriented design and design principles
  • Knowledge of design patterns and test driven development
  • Ability to convert mock ups to pixel perfect web pages using HTML and CSS
  • Database design and implementation
  • Basic Linux administration


Nice to have:

  • Experience to Scrum/Kanban methodology
  • Laravel framework
  • Experience with Javascript frameworks
